HELP! Davis VS2 Treadle wheel question

After owning my Davis VS2 for almost a year I finally put a new treadle belt on her today. The problem is that the treadle wheel is wobbly i.e. not turning true and is very noisy compared to my other treadles. I am trying to diagnose and fix the problem. Question. Is there a bushing of some sort that the wheel turns on? If I have to I will remove the wheel which I really don't want to do.

Pics? Sorry, I do not have one yet, so I do not know if it was a "cone" bearing like on the old singers or a "ball brearing race" like on my old Wheeler and Wilson.

My guess would be ball bearing race with missing balls....as it were..

OK Steve. Pics tomorrow when I have good light. I sorta think I will be adding to my skill set on this one.

Steve, I hope the pics help. The last pic is of the hex nut on the right side. I was able to loosen it and then tried to tighten it but it would not tighten any further. I have a feeling that I may end up removing the cabinet in order to remove the wheel. AAARG.

These pic's might be similar to what you have.

Thanks Jon, yes, similar. I am thinking that parts 564 through 568 are likely worn out. BUT, I won't know until I take the mechanism apart. The pictures are ones I found on the Internet. Why is it every "it should be simple" project turns into a major endeavor?

Here's a pic of the same treadle. Looks like a dirty job.

Yep, that is the treadle base . Dirty job? As I figured! The machine functions now other than the balance wheel is clunky. Even if I did take it apart I might not be able to find replacement parts for it. The detail pic of the balance wheel hub gives me an idea as to which parts are worn out, Again thanks for the parts list. I am going to ruminate on this problem for awhile.
