I just found out that a machine I had stored is a Singer Redeye. Does that mean anything? Serial number is C8016815.

Wow, that's an oldie!!!!!! They started making that one in 1909,
I have a Redeye and it's so pretty!! |
Cool! Pretty machine~ isn't that pattern only on Singer Model 66?
|
you can go to the singer web site and put in the serial/model number- it will tell you the (birthdate) of the machine and where it was made- also if you need a manual for it it will also either give you an option to purchase one or down load one.

According to the Singer site, the records for the C serial numbers have been lost. These machines were manufactured in Wittenberge, (Prussia) Germany starting in 1908.

Should be a singer model 66 and we can only estimate the date.
Red eye is a nickname given to a particular decal pattern that singer used. It is also often called a redhead too. Congratulations. |
