Please do more on the attachments - I don't care how many other videos someone has done about attachments your's are tops - you don't have the camera moving around giving me a blinding head ache - you speak clearly so I under stand what you are saying.... Keep them coming!!! Oh and now I'll have to have tea and some orange marmalade when I watch your videos!

Muv, miriam told me about your video on the underbraider and now I want one too!! They look so neat and would be great to decorate doll clothes for my grand daughters. I watched it and also your one on cleaning a machine. I still need to watch the second one for the oiling of a machine, but it takes me a looooong time to download them as I'm on dial-up yet. Someday soon we will get faster service. Thanks for the videos, they are great!

Farve has just sat down to read all your posts and was delighted to see how much you have enjoyed the underbraider video. He does all the camera work and edits the videos. We have had a few problems with the camera going in and out of focus, but I think we are gradually improving!

If you want to see pictures of underbraiders, look at this site http://www.helenhowes-sewingmachines.co.uk - they are listed in one of the sections showing feet.

I found the April 1930s site some time ago. She shows excellent photos but charges outrageous prices for attachments. Helen Howes is far more realistic. April 1930 sells the quilting foot and underbraider together for $59.95, reduced from $95. Ooh gosh what a bargain. Helen Howes has the underbraider at £4.50 and the quilting foot at £5. I keep telling you you are all on the wrong side of the Atlantic.

Hello Steady Stiching - I don't know where you are, I assume you are in the States. I have been looking up information about temple oranges, and it seems they are not the same as Seville oranges, so the proportions of fruit and sugar will not be same. I am going to put up a topic on the recipes thread about marmalade later on today.

And as for sewing machine attachments, I have decided which one to do next! Watch this space...

What is the width of the ribbon you are using in the video? It will give me some kind of idea on whether I can get this and use it in California based on what I have seen is available out here.

VickyS - the ribbon is an eighth of an inch.

I have the underbraider, but have never been lucky enough to get the quilting foot, I've been putting off buying it, guess I need to go hunt one up!!
