Note: The operator is the 'zig zag' - watch her hand movements. :) also, possible details in this book (I don't have the book so I'm not sure if there are more details or not): http://www.amazon.com/Singer-Instruc.../dp/0932086195 |
That is so cool - very skilled. I have that book. It's amazing that everything in it was done on treadle machines!

Thank you mom3,
I've seen similar demonstrations where hooped fabric is embroidered using a treadle machine. It has fascinated me. This video was a good reminder that I would like to try this! Also, thanks so much for the book download. I probably wouldn't be successful without the download. I've read the first few pages and it sounds do-able on my 66. They also mention the 27, 15, and W9 which makes me think that pretty much any machine is capable of doing this regardless of if it is shuttle, oscillating, or rotary. I'm always up for learning new things and I have all of the tools needed to do this embroidery already! Thanks again. Judy |
