Kenmore machine
Does anyone know where I can find a walking foot for my model 158 Kenmore machine?

Anyway, the 158 series could be super high shank OR low shank. If your machine uses low shank feet, any low shank walking foot will work. I got mine from Sew Classic...she seems to have the best prices. If your's uses super high shank feet, you can usually get one on ebay. But, for sure, a slant shank walking foot will NOT fit! |
HA! I have a 158. My guy is a BEAST! It is SO heavy! =)) I will watch this thread, I'd love a walking foot for my 'workhorse'! ;0)

My 158.1430 is not a slant shank. It is a low shank and I bought a Janome "Even feed foot with quilting guide for Horizontal Rotary Hook Models." It works great on many of my machines with a low shank. It is Part No. 200-311-003 if you wish to contact Janome to order.

I got my walking foot at Sears.
I don't have the same model, but I think it fits all the Kenmore machines. |

Kitsy I'll have to go look at my last few numbers. I want to say there is a seven in there !! Did you see the kaleidoscope done that you helped me quilt?! =) thank you so much. I pieced it on my 158 but quilted it on my newer singer (at least five years old probably!).

There are 'high shank' Kenmore machines (and others) and a couple Singer's have 'super high shank' - try sew-classic - There are Kenmore machines that have high shank and some have low shank they can all be 158 numbering though.
