let me introduce Miss Rosie!!

I saw this machine and absoluetly had to have it, it is not completely in pristine condition but boy does she just purr. She came with the lid as hopefully you can see and has a key, no attachments but my treadle ones work great. I didn't really have to do anything to her she was pretty clean and oiled. I always loved Muv's Vesta machine so was thrilled when I found this one. I have to say I certainly underestimated this little powerhouse she is really heavy. I found out she was born in 1956 in NJ and is a 99, I just love her and named her after my mom because she introduced me to the love of sewing on a Singer. I posted a picture of my first quilt that I made on her in the pics on vintage section it's a Mariners Compass.

Beautiful machine. I like the way you have the key tied to the handle. I do the same thing except my cord is short and I have to untie it to use the key. Duh........... Thanks for the help (LOL) and thanks for sharing your photo. Enjoy!
