Have any of you collectors seen a machine like this? (I am including the link since there are numerous photos.) I suppose you can paint anything you want on a machine if you have the talent but I was wondering if this is original to the machine. Certainly looks like it is.

I avoid the toy machines. Not that I don't like them. I just need to stay focused on full sized ones and be more selective with those as well.
The sewing machine repairman at Billie's-one of our local sewing shops- has a toy machine collection on shelves high up in the store that runs the length of the store. I'm guessing there's around 100 toy machines on display there.

I want it! I would think it's original to the machine as well, particularly since it's from Germany. Not that there are not tons of full size machines that I want but am also very drawn to the toys.

I have one! There are several designs all based on fairy tales..I also have the Hansel and Gretyl machine...they are chain stitch machines. It looks original to me...but not as old as mine..this one has painting in the corners, the oldest in the series do not..this is a pic of the H & G machine..

I am no where near an expert on these, but just from my shopping around I know that there were small differences in the designs of the characters over the years, but have no idea how to date them based on that.
This is Snow White and 7 dwarfs..I would love to have this one!
