Looking for cams for a Montgomery Wards machine

http://www.quiltingboard.com/search-...e-t180311.html

I posted this over on the "In Search Of" section. Only one comment so I thought I'd mention that post here. Perhaps someone here might take a look at my pics over there and know of a set.

Thanks

Joe

Let me go to the local thrift store tomorrow Joe...they had a set last week...dunno if they're the ones to fit your machine, but they were marked Montgomery Wards....

Can you find a photo of the cams and post it?

Charlee,

Other than the pics I posted in the other section that's all I have. Relics has a manual but I haven't ordered it yet.

I ran into these, lusting after something else. I don't know iof they're what you need, but they are Montgomery Ward, so I figured it was worth a mention.

Karen,

Thanks for the link. But based on the pictures I have I am not sure if those will fit. So I'll keep on looking.

Those are the same as the ones at the thrift store last week Joe, and they were gone when I went today. :( Sorry.

Charlee,

That's OK, thanks for checking for me.

I'm just gonna have to get that owners manual from Relics and hope there is a better picture of the cams in it.

I just had a thought. Yes ... it hurt.

The round flat disk on top of the machine in the drawing "could be" just a cover to keep lint and dirt out of the machine.
To use the cams, it "might" be that you'd have to remove it.

If that is the case, then some of these cams I've seen on eBay and here just might be what I'm looking for.

Well, I just ordered the manual from Relics. We'll see when it gets here.

OK,

The reprint owners manual came from Relics this morning so I scanned in the only pic it had of the bottom side of the cam and made a montage of the pics.

As you can see the cam is a flat topped disk with the hub and cam parts on the bottom.
