I was given this machine. It is a Dressmaker, made in Japan. It has 2 cords to plug in. It doesn't have a foot pedal, there are 2 buttons to push for stitching. Has anyone seen one like this before ?

I have seen several like this one but never played with one yet. As far as the two cords are concerned one would be for the main power and the other should be for the foot control. These machines are wired like the Kenmores are. If I were a betting man I am going to say it was built by Morse , Toyota or possibly Koyu-Seiko.

Do you have any photos of the underside of the machine and can you tell me what the markings are under it? And if you can show me the connection where the cords go. I can get the parts for this machine really easily and they are not all that expensive.

I really love the looks of the Japanese machines from the 50's and early 60's!!
