My DH is going to look at it a little closer. We did notice some of the casing is broken probably because of its age. Believe me it will be serviced before I start using it.

You can look at this site.

Looks like it might be a 99-13

It's not a 15-91 clone, cause it has a belted motor. So that's a 15-88? Or something like that.

Diana! Cute.... I remember seeing a Diana on a craigslist somewhere. I bet it will sew a nice stitch and looks to be in great shape.

You know, I never thought to ask anyone this. Will a Japanese 15 clone fit in a regular Singer cabinet? Or are the bolts in different spots or something?

I know, I couldn't believe it. She sure is pretty! I'm pretty sure I would be able to use the feet from Miss Eva (my featherweight) on Miss Diana?

Mostly, the wiring will need replacing. Check out Billy or sew-classic for replacement wire, plugs, cords and such. Easy as pie. I found the sew-classic tutorial on re-wiring easy to follow. Although, I got my DH to do the rewire on the first one while I watched.

This is the first one that I have seen, but until I got into quilting, I guess I didn't pay that much attention. I will now! Thanks for the wiring advice, I'll be researching Billy's site as well as some others that have been suggested.
