Need help on singer spinx

I just bought a Singer Spinx 127 I think. Made in 1927. I'm not having any luck finding parts. I need a new belt & the rubber thing on the bobbinwinder. How do you tell what model 127 it is? Any info I can have will be appreciated!

Go to ISMACS.com and enter the serial number. It will tell you everything you need to know. And Billy (Lostn51) on our Board may be able to help....he's the resident expert. If the first link doesn't work, google Singer Sewing machines and you should be able to get the info you need that way too. Good luck!

Is your 127 electric or treadle? You can get the bobbin tires from mizkaki (Cathy) here on the board, and most likely get a belt from her as well... she wasn't feeling well yesterday, so it may take her a day or so to get back to you. Super reliable seller! :)

You could try going to TreadleOn for parts. That list has lots of help for people powered sewing machines like parts, gatherings of the members, info on the machines, etc.
