Need motor bracket for a Pfaff 230

1 Attachment(s)
Hi, I need help locating a bracket for a 230 Pfaff machine. I purchased it on ebay and it came poorly packed. I settled for just paying the shipping and the rest was refunded. So now it's to find a motor bracket to replace the broken one. I keep checking ebay, but no luck as yet. Any help would be appreciated. Would it be possible to have the bracket welded, or is the bracket made of a substance that won't take the weld?

Thank You, Claudia

Hi,

A good Welder can weld almost anything and it could probably be made right by metal bracing and some rivets or bolts. I see there's an Pfaff Yahoo Group where someone might have a bracket and continued checking in on ebay is also good. Good Luck.

Seek out someone with a donor machine. They are out there. Like Jon suggested join the vintage Pfaff yahoo group and post that you're looking for this part. I would think someone on that group would have one they'd sell you.
