It's a type 15, badged clone. If you google or do a search here there's tons of info about 15 clones.
|
It's stamped "made in Canada" would that mean just assembled?
|
I'll take Candace's word for it. The pics are so huge ( over 1.5 mb each ) my dial up can't open them.
What part is marked "Made In Canada"? The machine, or the motor? Look underneath and see if there is a J-A number. If so the machine is made in Japan. If not it's still made in Japan. Joe |
Under it is stamped sears sinco model # c877.15 made in Canada. The motor is stamped made in Canada, by the "shoe" company.

She's a beauty!!

Can't help but love it! But even with DSL the pictures arn't loading up right. Only the first one started where I could see it for a few seconds and then it disappered?
|
I clicked refresh and now nothing. Odd
|
My machine won't open the pic either and last I knew this wasn't dial up.
If Candace says it is a clone. It is a clone. Here is a link to some more clone pics and clone info - somewhere on there is a link for a manual, too. Love my clones. http://www.quiltingboard.com/picture...p-t164361.html I like the Kenmore clones, the MW and the Universal a lot. |
You have an adorable model 15 clone which you will absolutely love once you get her cleaned and oiled!! I have one just like it but the name on it is "Capri"
