Thumbelina 09-11-2012 07:22 AM

Evidently the don't do much machine sewing. haha They must be hand sewers.

unicorn53 09-11-2012 07:25 AM

I think it was a test to see if we were awake - and we didn't fall for it, HA!

Up North 09-11-2012 07:26 AM

Wonder if they would demonstrate how that would work! LOL

kitsykeel 09-11-2012 11:28 AM

That is so silly it almost isn't funny. What some people will try to get away with.

bearisgray 09-11-2012 12:19 PM

That was worth a laugh!!!

sueinstitches 09-11-2012 12:31 PM

Hay I think I have an ANTIQUE ruler to go with it!

cabbagepatchkid 09-11-2012 01:21 PM

He still has that listed!!!???? I saw that one last week and I emailed him to let him know what he had. I guess he didn't believe me :D

Tink's Mom 09-11-2012 01:26 PM

I would like to see this sewing machine demonstrated...show me how good it works...ROFL...and where does the bobbin go???

Nanamoms 09-11-2012 06:28 PM

Waiting patiently on a YouTube video to see it in action!!!! LOL

Lyncat 09-11-2012 06:59 PM

Haha, that is hilarious!

amyjo 09-11-2012 08:49 PM

I had a good laugh over that one. Rare indeed. I wonder if he even knows what a sewing machine looks like? HAHAHA

Toni C 09-11-2012 08:53 PM

That was good for a good laugh!

Connie M. 09-11-2012 08:57 PM

Rare hand held hmmm. I too would like to see it demonstrated. No cord.. no batteries.. no treadle...hmmm.. I remember when my Mom got her first sewing machine that had a button-hole attachment. She thought it was great and made me so many dresses just to use it

QM 09-11-2012 08:59 PM

I agree that the seller probably is 1) really ignorant or 2) hopes buyers are,

Nelco 09-11-2012 09:00 PM

I have one and I still use it for when I do button holes. I will never give it up

BETTY62 09-11-2012 09:19 PM

How funny. I wonder where he got it and how he determined it was an antique sewing machine.

Glenda m 09-12-2012 12:21 AM

I sent him a e-mail saying..Here in Oklahoma, we call them a buttonhole maker and they are not that rare! Haven't heard back from him. LOL

MimiBug123 09-12-2012 01:15 AM

I'd really like to see something he's make with that one!

patricej 09-12-2012 02:33 AM

Mint condition?

which mint?

spearmint?

lovelyl 09-12-2012 04:53 AM

I don't know if I should feel sorry for him because he really thinks he has something rare :( or to be angry because he is trying to scam someone ... for those of you who emailed him, please let us know if he responds!

0tis 09-12-2012 05:10 AM

Ok I feel stupid - I know its not a sewing machine but what is it?

Haylillian,

You have 2??? Rarer than rare!

1screech 09-12-2012 04:54 PM

Must be a man to think a buttonhole maker is a valuable sewing machine. That was a good laugh.

If I get any more of those 'rare' things, that end of the house is going to fall off. I think they breed..like clothes hangers! LOL

barny 09-12-2012 05:32 PM

It would probably be 25 dollars tho'. I have one and would never give it up either. Made many buttonholes.

nstitches4u 09-12-2012 08:22 PM

Too funny!

LindaR 09-13-2012 04:52 AM

Mimiqwerty 09-13-2012 02:47 PM

I have one of those in green for my FEatherweight. Makes great buttonholes! I emailed the seller to "educate" him, but haven't gotten a reply.

roserips 09-13-2012 05:24 PM

I second a few others in I would love a demonstration on how it works. Great belly laugh
