Pfaff 332-260 and Pfaff 360 Sewing Machines
 

Can anyone tell me the difference between the Pfaff 332-260 and the Pfaff 360 sewing machines? What I am trying to find out is what each machine is capable of doing for example: different types of stitches, ease of use, etc. I see them on ebay from time to time and was wondering if either one would be a good machine to have. Many thanks for your help.

Both are great machines. I have a 332 and a 362 that's in the shop. If they have the embroidery attachment, they'll both do the same stitches. My 332 doesn't have the embroidery attachment so only does straight and zig zag. I'd encourage you to join the vintage Pfaff yahoo group and read up on all the past postings about the machines. If I had my pick of the two models, personally I'd go with the 360 as it had some inner workings and parts changed from the 332.

The 332-260 comes in a case with more accessories and the manual where the 360 doesn't come with very much of anything. I will just have to decide which one I want to bid on the most. No problem. Keep in mind that manuals don't add much value. Especially Pfaff manuals. Lookie here. It's a strange site you and have to keep scrolling back to the model you want and selecting multiple times. Also, I don't LIKE the case for my 362 at all. It's too tight and actually has caused some paint loss. The one for my 332 is fine. Go figure..

Candace, Thank you so much for your help. I am the highest bidder on the 360 right now. I do have one more question though. If I need to buy presser feet, parts, etc. what place/website do you recommend?

They are low shank machines, so you can buy feet everywhere. If you want original feet, you'll have to haunt ebay. But, if you're o.k. with new feet, I tend to buy from SewClassic.com or http://www.sewingpartsonline.com/

Oh my goodness, you are a lifesaver! Someone gave my mom the Pfaff 360-261 including all attachments and she gave it to me since she already has two industrial machines and a 1928 Singer that she uses. I had been searching for the manual and couldn't find a good spot to get one... You are a ROCKSTAR in my book! :-) :thumbup::D Now if I could just find the code wheel for the embroidery portion of the machine we will be all set, you have any ideas? :D
