I can relate to your feelings. I am the oldest and then there are 2 boys. The middle one is the GOLDEN CHILD! And he brought the most pain, worry, & sorrow to our parents while growing up! Oh well, it is what it is and can't change that. SO as for you...you did the right thing, but sounds like your little sister is spoiled. Probably cant change that either, so let it go. You might tell her gently hhow you feel about the lamp? It isn't worth causing a war or trouble over though. I wish you the very best in searching for your FW!!!! You will find it!!! Huge Hugs

I can give you the contact info for my featherweight guy. Granted, he's here in Florida.

I have to say, what goes around, comes around. I cannot wait to see the prize of a FW that is coming your way!

Yup! Been there, too! The baby sister wants everything!
Good things will be coming your way...you just wait and see!

I have one from my mom and will keep it forever. Since I joined this board, I keep my eyes on ebay for another. Here is one of the listings I am watching, but there are lots of them listed each week.

In my case, I'm the oldest and it's the middle sister that gets me upset. She has never "wanted" anything from my Mom and Dad UNTIL they passed away. She always caledl their stuff "old or ugly". Now, she's first in line to claim whatever she wants. My younger sister and I usually give in to her. It's sad, we want things because of memories; she wants things because they "match" her new house.

What a great sis. The relationship is more impt than the FQ! Too bad about the lamp!

My sister wanted our mother's FW after she died. I would like to have one now, but I have no regret that I let her have it. You did the right thing and I hope your karma brings you just the one you want!
