Foot for DeLuxe Precision needed--lost it somehow when I moved it ......
Underneath machine a plate says "product of France". DeLuxe stamped into drive shaft......
It appears this machine needs a 1" shank----anyone out there ever run into that size? Low shank does not reach the plate---hi shank is too tall, does not work!
also, I have forgotten how to thread it--not sure I am doing it right. Had not used much it in years, left if threaded, but a helpful grandchild pulled the top spool off!
Ideas, anyone?
Sorry, do not have a digital...

Check the machine shop section of the board. They may be able to help you!

Do a search for Vinage sewing machines. You will find a
manual there for your machine.

Someone found a manual and sent the link to me.
-I got it running last night--now, if I can just find a foot that fits--need a 1" shank!

I learned to sew on a singer sewing machine that looked
like yours. What part of Oklahoma, I grew up at McAlester,OK.

i am near Manchester--
I have been told it is a clone of the Singer 15---and just talked to an elderly retired repairman who said I can open the machine up and adjust the clamp on the bar for shank length! It is the way it was when I got it many years ago--not sure where the foot came from that was on it, but it worked fine till I lost the darn thing!
Not sure I am ready to try that yet.....
