Sewmaster Walking Foot Identification
 

Hi,
I need some help identifying a sewing machine. The only markings it has on it are the specs for the motor and the word 'Sewmaster' on the top. I pulled the needle and it's a Organ 25 so from there I figured out it was a walking foot machine.

I'm looking to throw it up for auction but I'd like to get a little more detail on the machine before doing so. I've searched just about every term I could think of but I haven't been able to even find something remotely similar. It works by pushing a button on the handle so I imagine you have to hold it while sewing. Maybe it was for large canvas tarps? Any help would be much appreciated so I could properly describe it. A walking foot is a two part foot that moves the fabric through the machine evenly. I don't know what you have good luck selling it.

It looks to me like it might be a chain stitch machine made similar to the Fischbein Model C Bag Closer for sewing feed or seed bags closed after filling.

That's incredible. You guys really do know your stuff. I needed another jumping off point and you gave it to me ThayerRags! It seems as though Fischbein always casts their name into part of the frame. I went through several models of theirs and couldn't find one that didn't. The handles on the Model D look almost identical but they still have their name cast into them. My guess is this is an Asian knockoff of the Fischbein. There seems to be more than a few out on the market. Looking at the chassis, it's very similar to those made by Shunfa. Thanks for your help Thayer!
