This is up for auction on the shopgoodwill.com site. It appears to have a treadle foot but it's tiny. It can't be a base can it?

It is a treadle but missing alot of the treadle stand parts.... it looks like only the foot petal is remaining from the stand.

ArizonaKat,

That is a Franklin 1911 that was originally in a parlor cabinet. I was eye-balling too for the accessories and owners manual. I'd love to run that manual across my scanner and make a good copy of it.

As Lori said there is a lot missing in that ensemble.

Here is a photo of my Franklin when I was working on it. You can see the small treadle plate and all the other things that are missing from those on Goodwill.

Too much. Unless you need the parts, it's just not worth it. Let this one slide...there's a good one around the corner for you!

I'm actually looking for a portable crank machine. I bought my White treadle in January and now I feel a great need for a crank.

Thanks for the advice.

ArizonaKAT,
Unless you already have a hand crank for a Franklin machine, you can't just use any type of hand crank. The aftermarket
hand cranks being sold now only work with Singer or the Japanese model 15.
