Singer 500A
I have a singer 500A that I got in 1962 with cabinet. It is in good condition. Does anyone have an idea of the value?

If you google it, a man just got one for 25 dollars. Whatever anyone is willing to pay.

Value questions are always subjective to where you live, condition, accessories etc.

I do understand that. The machine is in excellent condition. It has the cams that came with it and the accessories as well and a buttonhole attachment still in the original box. I live in California near Sacramento.

I paid $20 for mine and it has all the cams and accessories and it is in outstanding condition. The bed doesn't even look like it has been sewn on.

I got a 500A a few years ago at a garage sale for $10. It came with most of the cams and feet and accessories. And was in a cabinet with stool. I love it and wouldn't take anything for it.

I got one for free and donated it to a woman's group at a church.

You may see one in perfect condition but have it serviced anyway - the stitch selectors usually are stuck.

I got one in a beautiful Queen Anne cabinet with all goodies for free. Still, they are good machines and worth having.
