I could use some help identifying these attachments and if anyone knows how to use them, all the better.

I know what the screw driver, the seam width guide and the bias tape cutting guide are. And the one thing says threader on it.

I think I have 2 rufflers, a bias foot, and an adjustable hemmer(all of which I don't know how to use).

Beyond that I don't know what the rest are.

Help is appreciated!!!!!!

Thanks,
Cheryl

did you get the book for it? does it say in there?
what about singers on line site, or maybe emailing them?

No book, these attachments are for my machine from 1910. But I'll see if I can find a book that covers all of them, thanks for the singer suggestion. I think the bias foot is in my manual for the machine but I know a lot of them aren't.

I think the ones that have numbers and a knob are button hole attachements

The "no clue" pieces are tuckers. The "torture devices" are underbraiders. I couldn't see enough detail on the "scoop" thingy, but it doesn't look complete by itself. Perhaps it is part of something else?

For information on how to use the attachments, Sew Classic blog is a wonderful source of information on vintage machines and attachments. You might check out this page: http://blog.sew-classic.com/. Look around a bit for a booklet called "How to use vintage sewing machine attachments."

If all else fails, Ask Billy (lostn51). Go to the Vintage Machines Shop thread.

I think it's possible your scoop might be to cover your feed dogs for FMQ and darning. I'm thinking it might be upside down?

Sorry they are unfamiliar to me, they look like little torcher tools! Good luck I hope you get the help you need!!
