White sewing machine model 130, serial #8332. Not for sure of the year made. It's dirty, the case is even worse. But a bit of elbow grease and bleach will clean the case up. The machine has some chips and it was missing the bobbin case but think one I already had in my collection will fit. The bottom side needs cleaning and oiling. So here are the photos.
BTW it cost me $7.99 and it works. However is is rather loud. Maybe a good oiling will solve that. |
Congrats on your lovely find! Looks like it will be great to sew on! :)
Good for you! Hopefully a little oil will take care of the loud voice...
Very cool.
Looks great and oil fixes alot of things.
Looks like a mean, green machine. Good score.
Congrats and enjoy!
Nice mean green machine!
Love the color! Oil her up and have fun.
I like it!!
What a great deal you got... Those White machines are really wonderful. Check my Avaitar, I got her for $9.99.
I really love the color of this machine~you really did get a bargain and half the fun is finding parts for them anyway!!!
I just love seeing an old, neglected, sad sewing machine revived and brought back to life!! That's what makes me think I really want to stick with my (Mom's) old 60s Kenmore - I can't stand the thought of her (the machine) sitting somewhere all sad, dirty & neglected. ;(
What a great find! I always celebrate with someone on this board when they find a "deal"!
congrats on your find. oil is the key. love it..
I love these beautiful 1050's machines! They are so much prettier than the ones being made today. Glad you found her and she has a good home.
