don't know if this machine belongs to anyone on the board.
Joe, did you ever go ahead and 'camo' paint a machine? http://www.ebay.com/itm/Lite-Industr...item416ea97702 |
Hmmm. Not my cup of tea....
Nice paint job if you're into camo, I am partial to that old green myself. Wish I had the $ to invest; looks like a charm!
Nope I haven't done one yet. I think I'd do it differently than that one too.

OMG! That's horrible! I'd sure like to see what it looked like before!
Well some body wants it desperately by the looks of the bids on it. What a sad case and the paint job is bad. It looks like spray can and finger paint. Bleh!
I really like green machines and it makes me sad what happened to this one. |

The seller asks in the description for feedback on the paint job....so I gave them one. My 4 yr old could do a better job. That is one seriously awful attempt at painting. It was a beautiful mint green before he destroyed it. I wouldn't pay 5.00 for it in that condition because I guarantee you that he didn't properly cover everything and there will be paint and such mucking it up internally.
I think that is about the worse thing I have seen in painting a sewing machine. I would strip that off it was me. I wonder what ever made them think that would be pretty. Maybe if the paint job was better it would look ok. I think Joe would do a better job. Nothing wrong with Camo but that isn't even close, lol....ugly!!!!!!!!!!!!!
wow a man's/mans machine LOL
I think he might have done better if he'd gotten some pieces of actual camoflage and at least matched the colors of the paint to the real camo. Camo is also very irregular - today's camo is digitally pixelated and kind of cool - even the Air Force and Navy are wearing it. :)
Oh my that poor machine.:(
oh my! Hate to say this but it is still ugly! :-)
That's really sad - I feel bad for the machine. I bet she's wishing she could hang her head in shame and cover up that awful paint job. IMO, that's not camo. It looks like worms.
Tha is quite the machine, what where they thinking?
Oh dear, how dreadful! Poor little machine, she must be terribly embarrassed. Kinda like a pet dressed up for Halloween.
I agree--SHOOT IT.. :) I would strip it and repaint it that pretty 30-ish green...some people shouldnt be let within 50ft of a sewing machine.
I've seen better bad bad camo on the redneck hunting trucks driving around town! Poor sad machine.
Well, if you are sewing out in the jungle and need camo, where do you get the electricity to run it?:D
sad for her. she is hanging her head in shame. i hope who bought it will make her happy with a new dress. and come here to qb and show it to us. how she would shine...:)
that pic made me dizzy I would never be able to sew on it
I agree with most of the others - seriously fugly. Then again, I think that of camo paint/fabric/patterns in general. It has its place and can be amazingly effective, but even there it's not trying to look good.
GHASTLY. How sad that was done to a lovely machine.
I know beauty is in the eye of the beholder but that is one "butt ugly" machine. How could someone abuse such a nice machine?? Hopefully, someone can resurrect this abmomination. Just MHO, no offense to anyone.
Horrible paint job:thumbdown: poor little baby.
I feel sorry for the painter of this machine if they're a member of this board. :(
I seriously doubt anyone who is a member of this board would abuse a machine in such a way. They know better.
