Lisa Maybe someone from the Treadleon group that doesn't use their machine will sell. Every time I have seen a posting for a Two Spools or Davis, I have thought of you. I too wish these machines would show up close to you since you would make an excellent steward. Just from reading your posts on this QB thread, I have learned lots. One example is your own Singer 201 in treadle. Somehow the machine finds us! I would love to see you make those scrappy donation quilts that you make using a Two Spools. That would be awesome! |

I've double checked my threading and replaced the needle correctly. Maybe there's a burr I can't see in the hook? I didn't really have time to investigate as it's my daughter's b-day party this evening. I'm happy my 301 sews, but it's not "right" so my detective hat will be on. Anyone have any suggestions? I don't think the timing would have something to do with this, but maybe?

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=1rxpWrP5Wrc Go for it! And I do NOT know this person. I just want to see this machine go to someone that not only collects vintage sewing machines, but also will use this machine for quilting. http://modesto.craigslist.org/atq/2526424570.html |
