Then there was the visual in the box to teach the ladies how to use the blind hemmer.

Miriam,

I have one maybe two of those Greist blind hemmers. One is for a top clamp Domestic and the other is a low shank. I have different instructions than you do though.

I also have one of the Greist ZZ attachments with the little star cams but I can't find it. I don't think I have any instructions with it, but I can't be sure until I lay my fingers on it.

These are some neat gizmos that's for sure.

Joe

This is a really thoughtful well written blog! Thanks for sharing the link! Is it someone on the board? Laura

Did you have to adjust thread clearance gap?

Based on the conversation about machine names- my name is Priscilla and I finally scored a Priscilla machine off the bay. However, it arrived with the motor mount broken, so I am sending it back. Enough to make me cry, as I just NEVER see these for sale!

I have a 301 without the bottom plate. Does anyone have one to sell?

Thanks,
Lu in TN

I missed a Priscilla treadle machine here on CL by about an hour. Am still sad about that. She came with a beautiful cabinet.
