Those old spring jumping feet are pretty cool but I think you can buy needles with springs on them.

Will be watching this thread to see if someone can come up with something. The machine sews really well and would like to try it. If I could just get hubby interested in this kind of stuff he could probably come up with something but alas my quilting does not seem to interest him unless he can make a fishing lure out of it!!!

Jim, thanks but don't think I would like stopping and moving an embroidery hoop that often. Buy the way looks like you are about a 50 min drive north of me. Also, had to laugh at your quote--So Me!!!!

Yes, Schmetz make a 15x1 spring needle. I have one, they work well and they're cheaper than the presser feet :thumbup:

Jim, I've never seen embroidery like that. Wow, my mind is blown. I didn't realize that's even possible on a little straight-stitch machine. Who needs all that computerized crap when you can do this?

Cool! Love those! I'm following 1. I have one more machine than i do shuttles ya know. But no matter how many I get I'm still short!! Just can't figure it out!! ;-)
