She's sweet, love the decals. I'm not one for coffin tops as a rule but this one is beautiful!

What a steal.

Wow, Charlee, you have a few gems, eh? I'm loving the 9W. Her decaling is beautiful. You have a lovely group of machines.

I think that there were at least 3 versions of the household-use straight-leg cabinets through the years. I’m aware of one with wooden legs, one with cast iron legs, and this one with pressed steel legs. I have one with wooden legs that I believe dates back to the 30s. I also have an industrial stand with straight pressed steel legs that I think dates to the late 30s. I don’t know which ones were offered when.

Mine is pressed steel for sure and looks exactly like yours...even the wood cabinet. Interesting.

Thanks, d...she's one of the first machines I got, and I really love her. We still have to rewire her motor before she can be used.

MY FIRST SINGER!!
Just picked this up at a local consignment store for $19.00 she has a hand crank along with shuttle and bobbins. I thought she looked like she was in pretty good shape considering her serial number is according to Singer website is from 1910.
