Hi everyone, I was given a 201- today and she is in need of a good cleaning. she runs well and is very quite. My question is what is the difference between the 201- 201-2 and the 201-3. I also read about a 201k. I'v sea
rch for this information and can't find the answer. thanks hope someone can help with my question because i need to order a few parts and i want to make sure that they are all comparable with each other, 201- 201-2 etc.

Beats the snot out of me! But I think the "k" means it was built in Kilbowie, Scotland.

201-1 treadle

201-2 potted motor machine

201-3 solid hand wheel with external motor

You can't go wrong with any of those. Nice machines parts should interchange with each other. Low shank attachments should fit them.
