Vintage Sovereign Sewing Machine
I am very interested in knowing if anyone has info on Vintage Sovereign Sewing Machines. The machine is Blue/Turquois. The machine was made in Japan. I can't seem to find much info.

Likely a Japanese clone of a Singer clone circa 1960s.

Go to Yahoo groups and join the vintage japanese sewing machine group. They have some manuals there. I have a straight-stitch, pink Atlas which is a rebadged HA4-B2 Brother and found a manual there. The manual for mine actually says "Sovereign" on the cover. A lot of vintage machines were made in Japan and re-labeled for sales in the US.
Look for HA4-B2 Brother in the files section. Go through the manual and see if its features match you machine. http://groups.yahoo.com/group/vintag...ewingmachines/ Tate |
Thanks so much for the info.
