What do I have?

I have a Singer that was my grandmothers that she bought in 1905 I think. I found some numbers on the shuttle plate but don't know where to look for other information.

You might post a picture of it as you have given us no info to answer your question; of what do I have?

You can find the serial number (we should be able to tell you what it is from that, but we like seeing photos! :) ) on a brass plate in front of the pillar of the machine. :)

I don't have one that shows the machine just the cabinet for the insurance lady. But will try to get one.

Are there letters in front of the serial number? You can go to singerco.com and look up the serial number to find out when and where it was made.
