What is This?

Can anyone tell me what this goes to? It's obviously a bobbin of some sort but I don't know what it goes to. It came in a box of cams but I'm sure it's too old to go in the machine the cams were for. The picture isn't the greatest but maybe it will give you the idea. It's about 3" long and 1/2" wide at the widest point and has a small hook on one end. The bobbin is in the center but it doesn't show up too well in the second picture.

This is a pulley but I have no idea what it would be used for on a machine

It is a tatting shuttle for making lace

Definitely a tatting shuttle for lace making - usually hand crochet - not generally used on/in a machine that I know of.

Yep, it is a tattle for making lace. Kind of like crocheting. not for a sewing machine.

Does anyone know what machine it goes on? It came in a box of cams for a Kenmore model 90 but I'm sure it doesn't go to that.

Thanks for your help. Since I don't do tatting I had no idea what this was for.

Yes, it's a tatting shuttle. I had a neighbor that used to tat.
