This screw thing came with some 301 attachments. Can anyone tell me what it goes to or is used for?

I don't know but I don't think it belongs to your 301. I have a 301 which is complete as far as I know and I don't have one of these. Sometimes people stored weird things (not sure why) in their sewing machine drawers. I found all kinds of "treasures" in the drawers of my new to me treadle machine.

Thanks Shelbie, I don't have that 301 yet, someday. All I have is a nice box of attachments and a buttonholer.

Could it be a key for a clock or music box?

It's a thumb screw, but for what I don't know.

Sometimes I put things(non sewing) in my sewing cabinet storage compartment so I will know where they are and also so they won't get taken and used and disappear by other family members.

Yes Joe, it is a thumb screw for something, maybe nothing I currently own. Will hold onto it though. You never know when you or someone else will be looking for one. Thanks for your replies.

Not a standard part for the 301.

I have several 301's, but nothing like that in my attachments.
