That's a good price for a white one if it is working and has it's case, etc. They usually go for around $300.
Pretty machine. Wish I lived closer.
I have 2 of these machines. That is a good price. Good luck hope you get it!
odd that it has a black case.....thought those had green and white cases.....
The cases and the machines often get separated whether we are talking the black ones or the white ones. The black cases have been available as a separate purchase for sometime. So hard to say what happened to the original green and white case, but it only slightly decreases the value. The original green and white cases are a little less sturdy than the original black cases.
That is not the case for the "white" featherweight. It came in a turquoise and white case. The featherweight is actually a very light green, but it often looks white. The black machines came in black boxes. Find out if it has a bobbin case and bobbins. Does it have a machine manual? I have a green featherweight that I bought on ebay a few years ago, and I like it.
I also found a "white" FW that had NEVER been used for $250 a few months. Got her oiled and lubricated and she is ready to go. I thought the price was right.
