I found mine for cheap on Craigslist, but it looked like it had been living in a workshop, which it had, so I refinished it: http://www.quiltingboard.com/vintage...e-t192637.html Minwax's Colonial Maple is a dead-on match for restaining, if you go that route. Personally, I'm a fan of useability over showpiece. I want it to look nice, yes, but mostly I want be able to use it. Refinishing isn't difficult, and for me, adds to the history of the table! (I once saw a FW table that had chop marks on one corner-a lot of them. The table had been purchased when the owners were newlyweds and used as a kitchen table when it wasn't being a sewing table. A lot of carrots met their demise on that corner!)
