I just finished this quilt yesterday. It's for The Linus Connection, a local central Texas organization.

I finished this quilt today. Its all flannel, except the binding. Pieced on 3 treadle machines and quilted on a Viking Sapphire 875 tailed machine. The quilt holder is my hubby.

Thank you Wilburness. All of my quilts are for in-need kids.

OK, so after giving up on trying to get the quilting machine I bought to work, I finished my green bed quilt on my 201. Gotta love my 201.

It's absolutely gorgeous! Those circles look so good!

What wasn't cooperating with the quilting machine? I'm assuming it's a frame mounted system?

The machine itself isn't working. I purchased it from a coworker and should have tried it out before I bought it. When I first got it home it would sew for a a few feet and then break the thread. I adjusted everything I knew of, changed the needle and now it's worse. Have birds nest thread everywhere. I called a repair man (which really erked me, since I repair vintage machines all the time) and he wanted $120 to show up. I just got frustrated with it and it is now a garage obstacle.

The circles look great and the soft coloring is lovely.

It does all of that on and off the frame? (I think it's a stretched Singer or something isn't it?)
Machines do behave strangely when they're put on a frame because of the extra factors we introduce. Did you ever start a thread about it? If you do, I promise to try to help.
