Default Repainting a Featherweight Sewing Machine

I'm thinking about having one of my featherweights repainted. Has anyone done this and, if so, what are your favorite colors. I'm just wondering what a popular color would be, other than the black, white, or tan. If you have photos of one that's been repainted, I would love to see them.

How about HOT pink? That may be the only way I can get a pink machine. But I would suggest choose your favorite color.

I am thinking about doing the same thing. I can't decide between purple, teal or blue though! So many beautiful choices.

If you do a google search for images of Painted Featherweight 221s you can see a few pictures of different colors.

I love my "Eric the Red" which I bought on e-bay over a year ago. I did "madame Butterfly" myself. Not the greatest job but I had fun doing it (she was in really poor shape before) I just won a burnt orange featherweight on e-bay. My youngest granddaughter's favorite color is orange and she likes to sew, so "someday" it will be hers.

this picture doesn't do them justice, they are much shinier and the red is a deep red.....

Here is one I saw at a local quilt show. THere were several there that I was drooling over, including a deep green one with tole painted flowers. It was gorgeous. I also like this one:
