Red face Saw a Fiddle Head today!

Took my embroidery machine and my mechanical Bernina 1031 to the dealership for tune-ups today....after filling out the paperwork, I was looking around and saw this machine and cabinet sitting against the glass display case.
It was a lovely, very worn Fiddle Head Singer in a treadle cabinet with 2 drawers and the box that goes over the machine.
I can't wait till tomorrow to talk to the owner of the shop....want to find out what is what with this machine. Cabinet is just about worn down to bare wood...not pretty...lots of rust on machine...but the bobbin shuttle is there and the 2 covers...so she isn't missing anything.

I took a couple of pictures with my camera, but don't know how to get them transferred to here. Will take my camera with me when I go pick up my machines.

It's not hard to post photos, follow the guidelines. I find it easier to compress photos to either document or web size then upload them by clicking on the image icon when you're posting or replying. Fiddle bases are always a treat to see.

Check for the tension, the pressure foot knob and the bobbin winder bits, too.

Oh dear, my gardening gene is showing. When you said fiddlehead, I immediately thought "Seems mighty early for ferns to me."

I was thinking of spring as well. We're due for another snow storm tonight and into tomorrow. Another storm is due next Monday but every day is one step closer to spring.

I hope you get to take it home with you if that's what you want.
