schematic needed

Default schematic needed

I Have a Singer 31-15 It was made 1915-1930 heavy duty machine. After rewiring it now runs backwards. where can I find the wiring diagrams? thank you, Lalasews

Are you sure you don't have the stitch length lever set to reverse?

What did you rewire on a Singer 31-15? Do you have one with a machine-mounted motor? Most 31-15 machines have a table-mounted motor.

a motor that vintage might be possibly reversed if its constructed like a Hamilton Beach. ie a (large) universal motor or possibly even an ac motor with a starter winding. please post pictures of motor ID plate.

the only info on plate is partial 12AR 31 will try and post pic's. my motor is what you said.
