    Scored another one

I bought my second Featherweight yesterday. ($200) It is in VERY good condition. Decals are not worn at all. Came with bobbin case, extra bobbins, attachments, and even TWO keys for the latches.. The case does have a musty smell. I think the bottom may have gotten damp at one time. The covering is coming loose from the bottom, but that can be repaired.

Good for you! I have read a LOT on here that the smell is a regular thing due to the hide glues that were used. Somebody posted a bunch of methods on smell suppression here recently...

Good for you!! I missed out on one the other day. I knew the auction was ending and I was watching to see where it would go. It was a nice clean basic black FW that sold for $202 ... and it was local so I could have picked it up. Alas ... I got distracted and when I turned back to the auction it was over.
May your stitches always be straight, your seams always lie flat, and your grain never be biased against you.

Great deal! I'd love to find another one myself!
Warning! If someone comes to your door telling you they are from the government and they're checking to see how bad the ticks are in your area, and then tell you to take off your clothes and dance around so they can check for ticks.... DON'T DO IT!!! This is a scam! They just want to see you naked! I wish someone had told me this yesterday, I feel so stupid.
