Default More sweetness in my messy house

A big thank you to Macybaby & her DH who dropped off 2 great machines, a 301 and a 15-91. The 15-91 was in ready to go condition and loads of attachments including a big loop hopping foot for FMQ. I have been FMQ and it is my go to machine now. Every machine & person has to have time & practice get the zen going but I love this machine. I've done a couple of small things and will continue to practice with this charmer. The 301 is so cool but I'm working on getting the whiff of must out of the oil felt before I use it. Several baking soda sessions have helped but I think I need to try the clay kitty litter. Both machines fit on my double machine table. Please don't look at my messy house & work area or at least don't report me to the DA ( Domestic Authorities) or even more importantly, don't tell my Mom.

You know I love both of those machine, and I love your sewing machine table; great idea by the mfg. My sewing area doesn't look any better than your's!

I saw one on sale listed on the MN Quilters, Inc. group on Facebook. She started at $200 then went to $150, probably would go lower. Also saw one on CL Minneapolis. I got mine from a local quilter for only $25.

Your house doesn't look messy to me. Looks like it is in use! Love your desk.

I love your "messy" space. And those two machines are wonderful. So pretty and clean, makes me want to go out and clean up my 301s to show off, instead of just sitting on a shelf waiting for me to get to them. But first, I have to get a quilt made for the Macon County Fair coming up in about two weeks. I have one about halfway through the piecing process, but am not happy with the way it is turning out. So, will probably put it aside and try to come up with another color combination. You never know what the judges will like this year, and I have some orange and white that I think might be worked up into a quilt suitable for a UT mom to give to her kid going off to school this fall. Maybe a UT mom will be one of our judges.....

That's a great desk for piecing, and you have two of my favorite machines on it. You will have fun there! Where did you get the desk?
