Here's a post from a while back on the differences between the 115 and the 15.

I would hate for you to part that out.... mine is a $.95 ( thats 95 cents ) Flea bay purchase just to see if I could save it thing. picked up off the ground in a junk yard real rusted.... I have stripped the paint and go it moving... but I busted the needle bar crank connecting link in the process.......yours could be saved as is !

Actually The one MacyBaby posted is a "Wings" decal. I had one here and it's the same one that I used in the link I posted above.

The "Owl" actually has an Owl on it, and that one is also rare - ISMACS has it listed as put on the early 15's. I've seen a few examples of it, but don't own one (yet).

This is a good site for Singer decals - you'll have to scroll down to see "Owl"

Yes it is indeed wings as Cathy said, they're pretty similar. The link she posted is the same one I posted.

I saw my first pheasant in January and two more within a week then never again! These things seem to all come at once.

greywulf - I have NO intentions of attempting to "save" the two in the boat shed. They WILL be stripped of parts and the casting sent to the scrap yard.

I do have a Pheasant - it's not in the best of shape, but it was decent so I grabbed it. That one came with a full set of attachments in a puzzle box, and a Peerless buttonholer. I'd have bought it for the attachments so getting a pheasant

Cindy Peters has the bobbins needed for the Singer 115, that's where I got mine. My 1914 Singer 115 has the Tiffany decals, was a project machine, its finally sewing and complete.
