Singer 15K110 RAF
#12
The 15K were made later into the 50's-60's than the US machines, I suspect yours is one of the later ones as it has the updated logo Plate, and also the gold highlights around the stitch length circle. My later made 15K-75 has the gold highlights there - but it's the "next generation" from yours.
I've seen way more variations in UK made machines, and more that came with a spoked wheel as hand cranks/treadles stayed popular over there way longer than they did in the US.

Here's an interesting one - note the feed dog knob on the bed of the machine . . .

That knob for the feed dog looks a lot like the Japanese made ones. Here is the knob on mine. I'm not sure if it's all metal or bakelite over metal but it's not as magnetic as the spool pin or the base.

Hi Christy,
I realise this is a fairly old thread now but I have just purchased a 15K110 too, I believe it is from 1960. Mine also has a spoked handwheel but it is completely different to yours - 9 spokes but much heavier than the standard 9 spoke wheel. Mine has a leaf pattern on the faceplate and a celtic knot inspection plate - quite frankly it looks like it was made of leftover parts from the previous 80 years of production! I'm wondering if parts have been swapped off other machines, to be honest.
I bought mine as the head only, apparently it had been in one of those cheaper straight legged rolled steel treadle bases that were allegedly used in schools etc. Mine has a jam in it somewhere as the wheel won't do a complete rotation but I'm planning on trying a regular sized handwheel in it tomorrow to see if that helps.

I have one much like Cathy's 15. An odd thing about it is there is no Singer badge. Where the badge would be is the number 19 in the casting, and I cannot detect any imprint or marks that would indicate it once had a Singer badge there, makes me wonder if it was undergoing cosmetic surgery. I have not done any cleaning on it, picked it up because I thought I'd never see another one. The case top cover is gone and the box part is coming apart. It has that mushroom, moldy smell. I think a collector's treasures landed in the little thrift store about that time because I came home with three machines that day, all with baking soda broadcast over them because someone thought it would get rid of the moldy odor.
