Default Singer 201 rotary hook clip

Anyone know of a source to get just the replacement clips for a Singer 201-2 rotary hook? Can't tell what the part number is from the manuals online, and haven't been able to find anything that looks right with my online searches... Might be getting ahead of myself on this project, as I still haven't been able to get the handwheel off.

What do the clips look like?

I think you'll be stuck with having to find someone parting a machine. Are the clips broken or just hard to move to get the case out?

They look weird in my parts chart but try part 45279.

I could remotely have some but I don't know what to look for. I got a bag of parts a while ago...

You know the fiddly clips that hold the bobbin case in to the hook? The ones you have to slide the ring under to seat it? That's what I'm picturing.

Photo 10 labels "clip" for the ones I'm talking about, assuming the OP means the same.

Unlikely to have that. There was a hook piece around last I looked but I don't recall the clips but that doesn't mean there aren't any. If I were living at home I would try sifting through junk to see if there might be some.

Yes, that's exactly the clips I meant. They were gone completely on this machine, and the pictures on Rain's blog make it look like they are a bit of a c shape on each side. Everything else is there...

I think you're going to be looking at a new hook assembly - from a parts machine. Not a bad thing but depending on price...
