Default Singer 201k handcrank

I love this machine! Currently sewing some paper-pieced stars and snail's trail blocks for a variation on Judy Martin's Shakespeare in the Park quilt. I'm using three color families, and the blocks are 6 inches, so this will take a while!

Nice machine!! I love that style of 201 and the extension base, too.

That one's on my want list.

Yep. I've had it bookmarked since it had zero bids but now it's at ~$52 plus shipping from Nevada. We'll see.

Default Quilt I'm piecing on the 201k

Here's a 2 foot (16 block) section. As it is a tesselation, I'm not certain how to gracefully make it end once I get enough made to approach its final dimensions as a queen-size quilt.

The machine is shiny, and the blocks are lovely. Hard to imagine sewing those angles with only one hand to guide the work!
