Singer 221 Made in Canada, body made in USA, living in Tanger?
A Singer 221-1 Made in Canada, with body made in USA, motor of Canada, living in Tanger (Morocco) and sold in Madrid? Serial # AH1939930 aug, 19 1947.
Yes, I bought it yesterday (200$). Incredible, I've found two Singer FW in four days!!
This is in very good shape, "full equip": bobbin case, five bobbins, screwdrivers, oiler, attachements and a manual in Spanish!! After cleaning and oiling it sew wonderfuly.
The only thing I need to change is the cable of the pedal it's rotten... since 1947!!!

The "made in Canada" is fading, I think the golden letters were added after the shellac. What do you think?

Happy weekend!

This was my thought too! If only they could talk. Can you just imagine what this one might say? Have fun with your Featherweight "bug". There is no cure .... not even an antibiotic can kill it!

I have three now still looking fir a colored one. One was stored in a closet and forgot for over 30 years. They found it when they cleaned out her mothers closet after passing. She said she hadn't that since she was a child. It was a 1941. You got a good deal and a great looking machine. Enjoy it for a long time.
