Default Singer 99 belt

My son is trying to get his Singer 99 cleaned up and sewing. He needs a belt....today. I called a local repair shop and was told he can bring the machine in and see if they have a belt to fit. (Their tech is not in today.) What size should he be looking for? And is it a simple rubber belt? Thanks. Wanda

My machine has a new belt with a part number #193077, I think it's 15" 1/2 some list it as 15" 3/8, I think it's exactly the same belt.

If it's a 99 that needs a belt then it's electric. I don't think any of us have ever seen a treadle 99 in the wild.

I don't know the part number bit he needs the same size belt that will fit a Singer 66 machine.

I forgot to mention the machine I refered to is a 99 too, her son probably has his belt by now.
