The other day on craigslist I found a free Singer Treadle. Yesterday I went and picked it up. It is not a treadle but a Singer 99k. I am still very happy. (Who would not be for free.) My question is about the foot attachments. I did not come with any extra. I found bobbin cases on e-bay (25 for $11) but no feet. Will any Singer feet work or do I need to look for feet that will only work on 99k?

I think if I remember right, that it's a short shank. So any singer short shank attachment should work.

Many singer feet will work like from a 15 or 66 as lomg as it is low shank which is most common. No 301,401 or 500 they are slant. Big congrats! I would like a 99. They are so cute. 3/4 machine

The 99k is a really nice machine. Its a 3/4 size machine and is a "Baby 66". The big selling point for these machines were the fact that they were small and they would be perfect for the small flats that they have in the UK. Most of the time you see them as a portable but you will find them in the cabinets, and if you find a cabinet or treadle then its worth way more that the machine is!

All of the low shank feet will work and the standard Class 66 bobbins are used along with the 15x1 needles. Be sure to post photos of it so we all can enjoy your find!!

Isn't Craigslist wonderful?!! Congratulations on your 99. They may be smaller in size but, man, are they heavy!!!!! I have one that has bad electrical wires and I'm going to turn it into a handcrank, someday.
