Default Anyone recognize this machine?

Hi all,
This machine is for sale. I'm curious though, I have no idea what it is and if it has a specific purpose.
Anyone know anything about this machine?

best,
d

I am just guessing, maybe a machine to make leather shoe repairs?

The seller claims it was used in a bridal shop.

This is a very early blind hemmer. It is missing a cover plate on the left side of the machine head ( the top of the picture). Google Dearborn blind hemmer. It looks like the 'junior' model. Cute as a bug when sewing. Mine makes the best hidden stitches. It does not take the same needle as the larger US Blindstich Co machines do. I don't know if the needle is still available.

Thanks Cathy. I'm not interested in buying it but sure was curious what it was used for. Thanks for the info.
