Default 1903 NOT a treadle singer sewing machine

Hi , my sister just picked up a 1903 singer sewing machine from a garage sale. you can hear the motor put it does not stitch. Is this a machine worth refurbishing ? thank you so much

Of course. The belt may be too tight or the stopmatic for winding bobbins may be engaged. Many simple things could be the culprit.

Does it have a belt from the motor to the balance wheel?
