Default Hello All Newbie Here..

I recently inherited my mom's Morse Model 4100 Fotomatic sewing machine. Having never sewn before I dont want to ruin this machine before getting started. So if any of you can tell me where to get a copy of the owner or user manual for the 4100 or similar model I would be grateful. I need to know how to thread as well as oil this old beauty...

I just want to say welcome! Even though I'm not knowledgable about old machines, I do like the looks of yours.

I don't have any old machines, so I'm no help in that area. However, I wanted to welcome you to this board from the beautiful mountains of western NC.

Here is a link (I hope) to a thread that was started on this board quite a while ago but if you can get it, it might help.

Morse Fotomatic 4100 Zig-Zag Sewing Machine Manual

Welcome to the Board! It's great that you want to use this machine and want to find out how to do that so you don't mess it up. Good luck!

Hello and welcome! Hope you are able to find a manual. For other items, www.sew-classic.com is a great place, and she is very knowledgeable.

Welcome from Southern California. One of our active experts on Vintage & Antique machines will probably be able to find the information that you are searching for. Enjoy having your mother's sewing machine.
